Donation Process

Donating to our organization is a simple process as we will come to you for any instrument pick up. With the exception of pianos, we are willing and truly thankful to accept instruments in nearly any condition. Many times older instruments that seem to be in a state of disrepair are the ones that are truly worth the money and effort to refurbish.

In addition to instruments, we are always in need of new cases (primarily for clarinets, flutes, saxophones and trumpets), reeds, swabs, cork grease, valve oil, strings, rosin, tuners, mouthpieces, chin rests, etc.

If you have a donation of any kind and would like to arrange for a pick up please contact Christian via call or text at 631.681.2414 or email

In addition to instrument and accessory/incidental donations, monetary donations are most welcome as the average cost to overhaul each woodwind or brass instrument is $225. At this time we are accepting cash or check donations with checks being made out to "Christian's Music for Minors" and mailed to 81 Wildwood Drive, Avon, CT  06001.

If you do not wish to make an instrument or monetary donation, but would like to contribute to our cause, we are currently seeking qualified individuals to repair the ongoing array of instruments being accepted.

It doesn't take very much to change somebody's life forever, so dig through your closets, attics and basements, find those long lost instruments that are seeking new life and let us put them in the hands of aspiring musicians who are ready to experience this gift. Our goal is to make a difference, and with your help we can make the world a better place, one instrument at a time.
